aerobatic possibility

Post by merlin » Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:42 am

?

I note that an aerobatic version of the UL engine, the UL260iSa 105 Hp Injected aerobatic engine ( inverted oil system), is to be available soon.

Is anyone planning an aircraft capable of using this engine ?

Please

ps 2 seat preferred

The Twister people are building one with the UL260 (mentioned in the current issue of the LAA magazine), and I'm guessing they'll be going for the aerobatic option... (only one seat of course though).

I have asked the UK importer to find out which aerobatic designers are working towards using this engine. He is investigation but no response yet. I could be very interested if the right people support it, but there are very few of theses engines in use for s and l let alone aerobatics…
