The consultation on a UAV restricted area in West Wales closes on 28 July. There are 3 design options which you can see on the WAG website by following the link on the Consultation Page on the LAA website.
If you have any views on this, please send them to [email protected] to inform the LAA response. If you think one option is better than the others, please tell us. If you don't really care, tell us that as well.
The Welsh Assembly Government including the airspace specialist from QinetiQ will be hosting a briefing for aviators at Caernarfon Airport on Friday 17 July at 7pm in the conference suite. If you want to know more about this you are welcome to attend, no reservation is required. The North Wales Strut also says you are welcome to fly in and stay overnight at Caernarfon. After that briefing the LAA team will put notes up on our website together with our draft our response. Please spread this invitation around if you can.
The deadline for responses on this is 28 July so we would need any input from you by 18 July at the latest.
