'... I called a couple of times and couldn't get hold of an engineer...' rant, dribble, bark.
Is that really something to launch a public whinge about?
As others have said, we've got excellent engineers at Turweston who could, no doubt, earn more money elsewhwere. They are overseeing the airworthiness of thousands of non-professionally built aircraft with all that that implies.
Give them a break and let's recognise when we've got something really good.
Should have bought a Jodel anyhow.
