another Tall guy I know used to have a Cessna 120 that he fit into no problem, he sold that and got a Piper Colt which he could also fit in.
The other problem you might find with Jodels is getting your knees under the instrument panel, depends how long the top half of your legs are in relation to your body. I have no problem but anothe friend the same height cant get in.
Lots of room in the back seat of a Cub for tall people, bit more of a problem in the front for pax though

I concur with David above........ A Luscombe is an excellent choice.... Proper Handling, Good looks, Economical to operate, Decent cruise speed, Room for touring, Short field capability, Very good UK Support group with organised annual tour and Rally
The one he refers to is unlikely to be up for sale for long...
Rgds Phil ( 6' 2'' and didn't really fit in a 112 or 119 Jodel )

Luscombe
I think I tried a luscombe, I did try a tayler craft, a auster and a aeronca but I fit in none of them.
I tried a robin, a bulldog and a jabiru and a stinson!!! I tried a Piper cub.
I tried a few more but I can't find the list I made. I remember 501 and 601. I drove around the country or flew around the country trying to fit in various permit aircraft, I went to the POPHAM microlight fair, the Auster flyin at Belle veu as well as a few other places and came to the conclusion none existed that I could fit in.
Then I gave up and just stuck to PA28's and Cessna 172's cause I fit in them.

As soon as I see one I will try it, I keep a little list somewhere of what I can fit in and what I can't. I have three aircraft in the fit side...PA28, C172 and boeing stearman.
On the whole I rekon permit aircraft were all designed and built by gnomes on a diet for all their size and weight carrying capacity.
