Otherton Airfield thefts

Post by Graham Wiley » Sun Aug 23, 2009 6:17 pm

The B******s that did this knew what they were looking for and how to remove the engines from the three aircraft. They were not just cut off. I suppose we should be grateful that no damage was done to the airframes. This theft must have been planned by people who are familiar with Otherton and the aircraft based there. The engines were some of the lowest houred on the airfield. The engine belonging to Foxbat G-CEWR was S/N 5649348
