hi John, the long and the short of it was that though there seems to be a number of anecdotal tales that people have received permission to fly SEA NPPL in France, nobody actually knows anybody who has received permission. A number have been refused. Some discussion is going on at the moment between LAA/head of DGAC so there may yet be a positive outcome.

John,
One such thread is here

As Brian says, rumours of individual approvals abound but I cannot find anyone who actually possses one - please let me know if you have any better luck.

Cheers
Adrian

I think Bill Knott got permission to fly his RV-6A through France & Spain to Portugal a couple of years ago.

You should be able to contact him through the RV Squadron http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rvsqn/

Regards
David
