SE5 REPLICA

Post by ROB THOMASSON » Mon Mar 10, 2008 6:17 pm

Does anyone on here know how big the cockpit on the SE5 replicas is please? I am struggling to fnd out as at 6 feet 5 it's a problem. I've written to several owners but await a reply.
I would really like one but I don't want to spend ages wating for one to come up and then find they are too small. I am average body to leg ratio, theres just a lot of me!
If not I think I will go for either a Jodel, an Auster or give up and stay with my MW6!
Funny, I thought as the planes got bigger, the cockpits would too!

SE5 A Replica

Yes the cockpit of the Se5 A is pretty small but I am 6ft 21/2in and I fit ,shall I say, comfortably but well ! I am 121/2 stone so fairly slim and there is a knack to getting in but having done so it is comfortable and wind free behind the relatively small screen on my aeroplane. It should be possible to modify the seat rails to be an inch or two lower. Give me a call if I can be of any furher help. A word of warning, once you own one you will love it to bits !!!
Regards,
Dave
