Best start planning now. I should take a decent survival kit for a flight of that magnitude.
Gliding in progress as normal, keep a good lookout, 129.975 radio, phone 07876444451 on the day or anytime over the weekend for PPR/ runway details etc. Note this no is for the fly-in only...not the usual one as per pooleys or the club website as that no goes thrugh to the clubhouse.

John,
Thanks for organising this fly-in, my first visit to Tibenham and what a fine airfield it is.
From the West people might have been put off flying on Sunday by the Bristol TAF that included PROB30 TEMPO 28G35KT and CBs. In the event the cloud from Gloucester was scattered and broken until St Neots when it disappeared giving a blue sky and perfect viz to Tibenham. This continued on the return trip until just West of Banbury when it was PROB100 that I would be getting very wet. However an extensive diversion that ended up approaching Gloucester from the South meant I arrived after the storm had passed through.
An excellent end of season fly-in and great fun to have a ride in the back of G-NADZ too.
Thanks, Alan.
