How do you get pictures into posts on the BB?

Hi Phil, first you need to host your photo somewhere on the web. If your ISP gives you some free webspace you could host it there, if not, open a (free) account with someone like Flickr ( www.flickr.com ).

Once you have done that then on the message reply form, click on the Img button, enter the web address of your photo and click the Img button again.

Hey presto, your photo appears on the thread.

Getting an image down to the pixel parameters was ok, but how do you get an image down to 15K?.

Bob, you are refering to Avatars, which is not what Phil asked

To answer your question:
There are a number of ways
1. use a file format that allows compression
2. Increase compression
3. reduce the complexity of the image
4. reduce the pixel count below the max allowed
