'GREAT NORTH FLY IN'

Following the success of last years event the 'GREAT NORTH FLY IN', will take place at Eshott Airfield, Northumberland on the weekend of 19th/20th June 2010. The event will include Microlights/Light Aircraft/Autogiros/Paramotors and Powered Hang-gliders.
LAA/BMAA all welcome

The concept is to go bigger and better this year and is to get as many flyers of whatever aircraft to attend the event, and to have a lot of fun.

We hope to have a variety of interesting aircraft large and small

All profits will go to "HELP FOR HEROES".

Storm Smith (Airfield Owner) has kindly offered a no landing fee weekend and we hope to raise some money for our charity supporting our troops wounded/maimed and disfigured on operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Attractions to include the following;

Beer tent Bar and BBQ
Military Vehicles (tbc)
Vintage Cars (tbc)
Live Music
Display Aircraft
Raffle
Camping
Fuel runs available (Mogas)
Limited Avgas will be available
As last year there will definately be no Karaoke!

Paramotors can take off from Stanton Airstrip (6 Miles southwest of Eshott), we should be able to take your tents over to Eshott by vehicle if required etc.

This is a great opportunity too visit one of the most beautiful counties in England, steeped in history and with one of the most impressive coastlines boasting a multitude of castles, Holy Island and of course our very own Roman Wall. Bring your tents stay the night and have a great time!!!

Excellent target for the summer, I also have Strathaven (south of Glasgow) pencilled in and will try and make both, only an hour apart at 85 knots!
Hope to see you
