Fly Angel GPS

Post by ian herdis » Sat May 01, 2010 11:28 am

I have a Fly Angel GPS from Aug 07 does anyone know who supports this product now?

I need to update the CAA chart to the new version there is a data card in the GPS do I need to replace this card?

Also does anyone know if I can reset the screen to have the aircraft icon further down the screen to show more of the chart ahead of the aircraft, the icon is currently in the centre of the screen.

Thanks, Ian

Don't know if the FlyAngel is still current, but I believe it was a FlyMap based item produced by the UK agents at the time, who are now selling the Airbox line of products.

The UK FlymMap agent is Brad Goodfellow at Pioneer Aviation near Abergavenny, see: http://www.pioneeravionics.co.uk/default.asp

Have dealt with him in the past few months and actually visited their base, happy to recommend their service.
