Like the title says, I need some good luck to see if negotiations go through for my new runway in the Vale of Glamorgan. I'm taking my chequebook along on either Monday or Tuesday.
Woohoo!

Best of luck Rob...be good to have another place to fly to in that part of the world (assuming visitation is possible!).

WoooooooooooooHooooooooo!
Guess what I've got! Just short of 400 yds, 240 degrees, flat grass, no neighbours within 1/2 mile and just outside the Cardiff zone. The farmer is a 'TOP BLOKE' and has also offered a 750yd section of field if this one proves to be too short.
PS Gonna call it Charlotte Church International.

(She lives just down the road)

Splendid! Suggest you get young Charlotte along to cut the ribbon and light the BBQ

That's the plan!
There are some other fields to look at that might be 'freely available' at different times of the year, ranging from 300 yds to nearly 800. The farmer has been fantastic so far and seems genuinely keen to help me out.
I'm taking the FRED to the local Infants School on Tuesday for them to have a play and then I'll be off to...errr...a secret location somewhere near St Brides in the Vale of Glamorgan, for some engine runs and some taxy trials.
