Post by Will Greenwood » Fri Dec 31, 2010 6:44 pm

Does anyone know the where abouts of G-AXZM, a friend is looking for this Typsy Nipper as his mum(Miss Mills) had a part in building it and would like to know if it is still tucked away somewhere ?

Cheers Will Greenwood.

Hi Guys, I have found the obvious leads, but this still draws a blank, would prefer and actual sighting or history/location, not looking to buy but simpley for the history to pass onto my freind, who's mother helped build it.

Will,

Only other suggestion is to drop the current registered owner a note and see if that produces a result. It would appear that the a/c did not venture far from the North East of England throughout its career. I noted it at Usworth in Sept 1976.

Will,

I have no data on it that adds to Willem Ronge's data - but I know a man who probably does.

Will contact my friends in Air-Britain and find out what comes to light.

Good spot Mike.

Will, the Date of "No Flight" Declaration is 24/02/2010 so there is a good chance that the current registered owner still has it or knows what's happened. Have you tried calling him? His number can be found via the on-line BT directory.

Thanks for the info guys, I will pass it all onto Jerry Mills, who's mum started the project, was hoping someone knew where it was lying, if you spot it let me know and I'll pass it on.

Regards Will.
