passenger briefing

'The rules' require the Pilot in Charge to brief passengers prior to a flight - Right, OK!

Has any one out there got a written format of what should be pointed out, for, say for instance an RV 8, or W,H,Y.

One of the CAA Safety Sense leaflets covers it in rather exhaustive detail.

"Care of Passengers"

I also saw a "SAFETY" mnemonic for remembering everything to tell passengers

S -- Seatbelts and Securing hatches
A -- Air vents and Action if passneger feels unwell
F -- Fire extinguishers and First Aid
E -- Exits and Emergencies
T -- Traffic (help lookout for it) and Talking (and when not to!)
Y -- Your questions...?

I suspect most people condense that in some form or another that suits them, their passengers, and their aeroplane!
