Aerial pic 'platform' requested

24th May this year is a big knees-up for the MG Midget/AH Sprite crowd over at Gaydon. Would anyone be able to help out with some aerial pics on the day? Nearly 1000 cars expected. I'd offer to help but I'm not near enough to being finished with my FRED.

As a multiple Spridget owner, with memories of riding in my father's Mk 1 AH Sprite when he brought it home from the showroom in 1958, it's entirely possible I might find myself flying somewhere in the vicinity of Gaydon on the day.
And I do sometimes take a camera...
The aircraft is also 50 this year...
(Cardiffrob, you have a PM)

Thanks, ffg.
Sorry for the tardy reply. I've been sunning myself by the pool in Puerta Plata for a few days (on expenses!)
[email protected] and [email protected] are the 2 mainstays of the celebrations. I'm sure they'd be most grateful for your advice or help. Fairly sure it is all 'OK' if you don't get a financial reward but you might get a free ticket. Isn't there still an active runway at Gaydon?

Thanks, David. Excellent work. Was it a Jodel? I saw a few aircraft orbiting on the day.
It seems that 951 cars made it there alright but I had to return via the AA due to my race-prep engine slapping the sump on a sleeping policeman and dislodging the sump gasket. Terminal oil leak!.

We had fun doing it. It was a pretty windy day, with the wind at Croft Farm, Defford at 45 deg to 09 - it took us ages to get to Gaydon, but very little time to get home!
I was planning to land at Wellesbourne and get a lift to Gaydon with the photos but didn't fancy 20 knots gusting 28 at 45 degrees there too! 05 was out of use because of the market. In the event we landed safely back at Croft, neatly side slipping round the oak tree on the right threshold... quite pleased to be back on the ground.
It was a nice meeting at Gaydon, never likely to see so many Frogeyes in one place again I guess!
