Well, we tried. Wind turbines approved. 43 objectors, 2 supporters.

I hope they are right about the concerns of the airfield ('a grass strip').

Not all the objections seem to be published, but those that I did read were not that well thought out.
I don't like wind turbines at the best of times and they always stick them in scenic spots. I suppose that is the nature of the beast.

I hope that the reports and assesment of impact on the airfield is in the right ball park.

After the Enstone experiance, I think there is a need for an article in 'Light Aviation' on how to defend your airfield from neighbours, landowners, and nimbys. Where to find the facts and policies etc and lastly. How to write a good objection letter.
