Engineering turn-around time

Post by richardsmi » Sat Feb 18, 2012 12:45 pm

I would just like to let you guys, who sometimes get frustrated with Engineering, that there are good stories too.
On Thursday (16/02/12) my RV12 had its Autopilot test flight in the hands of Mike Newall. By 1900 hrs the LAA had been emailed our report.
The very next day I had an email back from Jon Viner to say the hard copy approval letter was in the post.
24 hrs from climbing out of the cockpit we knew we had approval.
Pretty good going.
Well done Engineering.

For the past 7 years since I have been a member I have always found them to be excellent. Permits are always turned around within 7 days and technical queries are answered with superb detail and the backing of many years of knowledge.

I hope those involved read the frequent compliments they receive on here from many different members these days.

It's working really well, please don't change anything.

24 hours is truly impressive, but then again, I've never had anything but very responsive service from the Engineering boys (and girls).
