Collision avoidance – help requested!

Post by Rod1 » Thu Apr 05, 2012 9:55 am

I am running a test of light GA collision avoidance equipment and technology as part of an official LAA project. The results will hopefully help reduce the number of collisions in the future. The results will be written up and will appear in a few months in the mag. The test will cover PCAS, FLARM and PowerFlarm. We will also be investigating ADSB related issues.

I am keen to make contact with people who are using devises other than those mentioned above. Particularly, but not limited to “TM250”, “Gerrecht ADS-B + Flarm”. If you have experience of these and would be willing to share please PM me with your contact details.

Thanks in advance of your assistance.

PS – I realise the timing of this request is unfortunate but the test has been 18 months in the planning and will be happening in a few weeks.

This is a request for information only.

Thanks for the help. The ADS-B part of the test has gone very well!
