Just to let members of the LAA Forum know that the new LAA website dedicated to the photos of aircraft associated with LAA and PFA is about to be launched. Read your copy of “Light Aviation”; this is due to reach you over the next few days. It is a member’s only site apart from the home page and you need a password to gain access to the larger images. We want all members to contribute their best images and so try to create a library of all aircraft that have held a PFA/LAA Permit to Fly.
All known members with an email address registered with LAA office will be sent an invitation from this weekend. It will take a few days to complete this task since swamping the ISP with emails could make it appear that we are sending spam. If you have not received an invite by next weekend and want to join please send an email to the LAA office with your membership number and latest email address requesting an invite to the LAA Archive.
Please note that your password and login for the LAA forum does not gain you access to the site since this is hosted on a different server with a different login system based on email addresses and it will be checked against your email address that is held in the records of LAA.
I hope you will enjoy the site and contribute to it; a team of experts from within LAA are ready to screen the images you send; so once logged in please take a moment to read the rules and procedures so that we make this a great historical resource for LAA.

Please don’t send me a PM asking for immediate access as I write this from Tokyo whilst on business and will not be back home until late next week. I will monitor the forum however when I have time and when most of you are asleep.
