Flying to Sywell from France

I might be mistaken but the UK AIC for the Rally appears to route visitors from France just inside the northern edge of P114. Has this been noticed?

Checking against the special Olympic chart it certainly looks close, but the M25 appears to mark the northern edge of P114 so provided you don't drop south of that you should be OK. However, I think dropping down to below 1500ft and routing through the Stansted stub's TMZ from LAM to Ware, then on to Baldock below 2500ft would be a better route. Without a transponder you could get a clearance from Farnborough North 132.80 or Essex Radar 120.625. You'd then be well clear of P114.
Maybe it was felt that the visual cues were better with the M25 along that northern edge, or there were potential complications with routing foreign traffic through the TMZ.
