The 19 June is the closing date for comment on NATS' proposal for significant expansion of the London TMA to the north. Details in the consultation link of the LAA website.
Last year when consulting on expansion of the London TMA to the south-west, NATS dismissed our reasonable objections (they had made no operational requirement for the change) by saying there had only been one GA objection as opposed to many (commercial) responses in support.
As a quid pro quo to this change we (and the BGA) want a review of the lower level airspace that is not essential to commercial operation. To get this we need lots of responses for you. Yup, that means YOU. If we don't get the numbers, we will be sidelined again and our significant opportunity to change the way CAS is allocated will be lost.
