In the last few weeks I have seen cracks in flexible fuel tubes on several microlights of different types and ages. I've also had it on a couple of cars, also of very different ages. The tubing came from different sources and was of different makes
I don't know if it's coincidence or the new high alcohol fuel but do have a careful look on your next pre flight folks. It manifests itself as cracks in the outer wall at 90 degrees to the length.
On one there was a tiny pin hole which sent a fine spray of petrol across the engine bay when the boost pump was on. It could have been a bit exciting!

I have given up on the rubber type of fuel tubing. Yes it does crack, even on moderate bends after just a couple of months. I now use fuel grade "see through" tubing which I sleeve at points where there is any risk of fretting against adjacent equipment. I can also monitor for any air leaks in the system with the new type.
