I enquired about this and got a bit more information.
They have already ordered 3 batches and are assembling a 4th order (they currently have 5 people on their list for this batch which needs a minimum of 8 people to qualify). The scheme has worked well so far, the three batches have had 13, 10 and 11 subscribers respectively. They are happy to let anyone take advatage of it and as there's already a list of people buying, they shouldn't take too long to get if anyone wants to join this order.
I have mailed details of this around our strut and thought perhaps other struts might do the same as it it a good saving on a well regarded product.
