Narco 810+ radio packed up --- again

folks,

my radio has packed up again. This is the fourth time in as many years and each fix is a mega expense!

Just wondering if anyone happens to know a good electronics engineer that could possibly have a go at fixing it or if there is someone out there that has a radio that could do with a new home.

Expensive things these narco' sand it seems they are avoided like the plague due to their inherent un-reliability.

I'm afraid them do that.

The onlyreal cure is to put something reliable in the panel. These days that mans a new Garmin or something European, possibly Trig, Becker maybe Funkwerk. Unfortunately Narco simply cannot be fixed, they seem to self destruct in use.

Argh I just paid 250 quid to have mine fixed hope it will last more than a year!!!
