Wet wet wet

The weather over the past few month has not allowed any flying from a lot of strips, but the damp atmosphere has taken it toll of your aeroplane! Water has accumulated in the fuel tank, the battery has lost a load of charge, the condensation has built up in the wings and fuselage, it is everywhere and the electrics are damp the radio is soggy and the instruments are damp. The engine has corroded unless sealed off. The leaks in the roof has plopped gently onto the paintwork Wonderful now when it is time to fly again the poor thing is soggy and unhappy, just ready for a failure of some type and a pilot that is now way out of practice and a field like a bog.
Just remember that when you get back in all these things have happened and an increased sense of awareness should be at the front of your mind. DO A MAJOR CHECK look around everything delve into the crevices, throw out the mice and everything else that might have crawled in for shelter, JUST CHECK.
That is it is supposed that the rain does actually stop sometime. four months of no use and spent expenses have hit the wallet as well.
Ah well I do love a fun time.
