Radio rights transfer

Hi all

I would appreciate if someone can confirm the correct procedure for transferring an installed radio/mode s, etc on an airframe when you buy it (yes, new boy here!). I've listened to a couple of contradictory pieces of advice so wonder if anyone has gone through this situation recently? If it is simply the case of filling out DAP1902, then all good!
