Cheap Hangar Construction

Post by KESTRELFG » Fri Nov 07, 2014 3:34 pm

Can anyone direct me to the Light Aviation article and construction of a cheap hangar a few years back?
Many thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave, we had an article in the March 2009 issue about building a hangar for under £1000, written by Mike Hallam who follows this forum. If you can't find the magazine you could get a scan of the article from the office. Let me know by email rather than PM.

If you cannot find it Dave, I already have it in pdf format.
With Brian's blessing? I can email it to you.

Cheers

Well done Ian.

But I wonder whether Brian will give us an update on the progress on the searchable archive project? It was the intention, or so I thought, to provide LAA members online access to articles from past issues of the magazine?

Hi Richard, I don't really want to say too much about the searchable magazine archive project other than I'm afraid those tasked with doing it aren't making any progress. It's a shame and it isn't an insurmountable problem. I'll have another plead with those concered.

Thanks Brian.

As a membership organisation I for one am deeply appreciative of all voluntary work. And I know just how much time it takes to undertake IT projects that are robust enough to work well and without requiring constant intervention when placed in the public domain.

So for me its a wonderful 'like to have' prospect and well worth waiting for. Meanwhile, those involved deserve our thanks.

Dear all,

Quite by chance, I've been given first refusal on a Mcgregor Polytunnel this evening. I intend calling the company tomorrow to confirm the measurements given to me by the seller will fit my C-120, else, it will be available. Once I find my post -it with the measurements written on it (put somewhere safe....), Ill add them here.

Additionally, if anyone has experience of the product, feedback would be most welcome.
