The LAA Board and fellow staff members extend their sincere condolences to Francis Donaldson, the LAA’s Chief Engineer, following the death of his wife Kay on Sunday 21st December after a long and brave battle with cancer. An able co-pilot and navigator, and an unstinting supporter of Francis’ work on behalf of the Association, Kay was known to many LAA members who met her either as Francis’ companion during Engineering Department off-site visits or on the fly-in circuit at weekends. Kay will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to have known her.
