As part of the Future Airspace Strategy VFR Implementation Programme, the General Aviation Alliance is sponsoring 2 airspace changes in the South of England.
The first proposes to change the classification of Airway Q41 from Class A to Class D below FL80 to improve the safety of aircraft flying VFR between the UK and the Channel Islands and France. The second proposes to release the lower 500ft of Solent CTA-6 to Class G to improve the safety and efficiency of aircraft flying VFR immediately to the East of Southampton.

The consultation runs from 28 March 2015 to 20 June 2015 (12 weeks). Responses can be made by email or post as indicated in the documents.
