Edinburgh, Glasgow, embrace Listening Squawks from 1/4/2015

Glasgow and Edinburgh get (different) listening squawks from April 1st (no, it's not a trick). Glasgow has 2620 (charlie if possible) paired with listening on 119.1 MHz, whereas Edinburgh is 0440 (charlie if possible), monitor 121.2 MHz. Glasgow request that theirs is used by traffic (which want to use it) outside their airspace up to 20 miles away, remember in all cases, no service is provided to users, and users are declaring they do not intend to enter any controlled airspace - you can checkout http://www.flyontrack.co.uk for more info.
Incidentally, a Glasgow controller who is also a pilot has produced a good pictorial guide around there, linking photos of visual features from a Cessna to radar plots of the aircraft. See FlyOnTrack for that too.
