We'd appreciate hearing from anyone using a Goatthroat pump for refueling their aircraft.
We've started using one, and interested in discussing their use.
Goatthroat is a simple (but arguably expensive) means of pressurising fuel containers to provide a continuous fuel flow.

I should have added this link to the Goatthroat site: http://goo.gl/u5GuWF
(I've no financial involvement with them, besides being a recent customer)

If its plastic - a great way of generating a bit of static. Horrendously overpriced too - a decimal point in the wrong place I think.

Yes I think Bill's right about the decimal point, $295.00 is about £180-00 !
I use a rotary drum pump which has a universal fitting collar which screws into most drum type canisters from 45gal drums and downwards. Available on the 'net for 20-odd quid.
It's attached to a 30 litre drum which is fitted to a set of wheels bought cheaply from B&Q. I've also attached a bonding lead and mounted a fire extinguisher.
The drum just happens to be blue in colour and is decalled for 100LL. Looks dead posh actually, but was all cobbled together for a few quid.
Sorry Richard, I know that this is a slight thread drift ,but the goat-throaters seem to be a bit in the minority here mate.
