Varga Kachina Transfer to Permit

Post by RichADenton » Fri May 08, 2015 12:00 pm

Hi All,

I own a Varga Kachina, G-VARG which is at present on an EASA Certificate of Airworthiness.

I wish to transfer the aircraft to a permit, can anyone give guidance on the process to follow please.

There is already a Varga on a permit.

Thanks in advance,

Richard

I suggest you speak to LAA Engineering on Monday. If there's already one Varga on permit I'm sure they will welcome adding yours to the permit fleet.

Best wishes and happy landings,

Harry

Unfortunately the decision is not likely to be LAA's; if the aircraft is on an EASA CoA it will come down to whether EASA is prepared to allow the aircraft to move into Annex 11 as an unsupported orphan.
