Europa Tri-Gear First Flight

Post by carlp101 » Thu May 14, 2015 5:32 pm

Hi,

I am now the proud owner of a Europa Tri-Gear and I'm just going through my microlight to group A conversion. I hope to be certified before the end of June.

In the interest of preserving my life a little longer I'm looking for a Tri-Gear owner with lots of experience that would be happy to spend a hour with me for that first take-off and some circuits. I'm based at Membury Airfield, Berkshire.

Can anyone help me out?

Many thanks

Hi Carl,

Congratulations on your fine purchase. I recommend getting in contact with Andy Draper at LAA HQ, who apart from being part of the team who brought the Europa to market in the first place, is also a LAA coach with excellent Europa experience.

Thanks for the suggestion, Phil. I'll have to see how far he is from Newbury.

Hi Carl,
Have you joined the Europa Club? http://www.theeuropaclub.org/

There also used to be a forum at http://www.europaowners.org where you can ask. I've lost my log-in so cannot check it out for you.

Andy will put you straight anyway. :D
