Importing from USA

Hi,

In the hope there is someone who can shed light/confirm the following question for me; I fly a Cessna C-120. I have interest in importing exactly the same type from the USA.However, I am being told although it is a recognised UK permit aeroplane, any subsequent import of the type won't guarantee permit status.

Best to contact LAA engineering directly about this. Rules aren't straightforward.

Hi Tony,

I tried to get some info but didn't get along with person who answered the call at the LAA hence posting here. I'm looking at the 'N' reg route at the moment as well.
