Dear All

I will say hello as my first LAA post, currently flying a Eurostar (microlight) out of Redhill (1 of 10). Don't get up often enough and haven't flown since November I am sorry to say.

Sorry for hijacking this forum, nothing to do with flying, but needed for a cryogenic-vacuum work project, perhaps someone can help.

I am trying to source some Ti tube 54mm OD 2mm wall thickness (or larger OD that can be turned down) in at least 1m lengths. The tube needs to have very good straightness <0.1mm over 1m. We have sourced some but straightness is terrible.(worse than 3mm)

Any ideas of suppliers please ?

Have you tried any of the guys who fabricate titanium exhaust systems for cars/bikes? If they don't have the quality you need, perhaps they could point you to a supplier.
