Message to Moderators

Post by Ian Melville » Mon Mar 07, 2016 10:17 am

Hi Mods,
My message box is full, and I cannot delete any messages to clear it. I go though the steps to mark unwanted messages, then choose option to delete. I get the message to confirm I require deletion, but nothing is deleted.

I am unable to read two PM messages sent to me.

Hi Ian,

I have made some minor alterations to how PM's are handled whilst I investigate why you can't delete old messages.

You should now be able to see the two outstanding PM's. Please let me know if you still have difficulty.

John

Yes and no!

When your inbox is full (75 entries) the software will now delete the oldest messages to allow new ones to be received. Allowing you to delete individual messages is proving more of a problem.

Hi John, Its not important, but I want to delete a message from my 'outbox'. Has there been any progress on trying to fix this issue?
I did say for now :D

No solution yet, Ian. Not something I can do - problem passed to the experts.

Thanks John, I can live with it as I know the intended recipient has forgotten his login and I have emailed him direct now.
