Help setting up FUNKE TRT800 transponder

Hi all,
I need some help. Our ten year old TRT800 failed recently and FUNKE are unable to repair it as the display is now unavailable. They have generously given us a good discount on a new one.
My problem is that I am unsure of the format for the Flight ID on the new TRT800 OLED.
The handbook is not clear. I think that I enter the registration G-CECZ as GCECZ followed by blanks.
Can anyone confirm that I have this correct?
