A Wee Suggestion.
I am certainly not complaining about our little old forum , it does after all serve its purpose.
But I can't help wondering if one or two small additions wouldn't just make it a tad more interesting.
Before its format was changed a few years back , there was provision for a little thumbnail photo in the side-bar. Is it possible for that to be re-introduced ?
Also , I am sure I can remember one or two contributors suggesting a 'like' button , or even one or two of them emoticon things that suggest such. I'm not a great fan of emoticons , but they can be quite fun in certain contexts.
Any further [sensible] suggestions out there ? And I don't mean pop-up ad's from "Russian Beauties Looking for a Bloke with an Aeroplane" , or ScumbagLawyers4U.com [ been badly served by your Inspector ] type ad's either .
Oh, and please don't suggest anonymity either .

Re: A Wee Suggestion.
Now how am I going to write this without offending someone?
I get the feeling this forum is already ignored by most members, I'm not sure turning it into LAAcebook is going to wean them off The Archers.

Other forums are available to provide all or most of the above

What you say David probably does have some relevance . I am sure that the "red/yellow" forum has at least as many LAA'ers contributing as this one does. Only problem is that when LAA matters are brought up elsewhere , nobody really knows who the contributors are due to the anonymity thing , plus you'll get other anonymous non-members putting their two pence worth in and it just turns into a scrap.neilld wrote:Other forums are available to provide all or most of the above
N.B. This isn't a deliberate attempt to re-kindle an old and well worn subject as I thoroughly agree with this forums excellent policy on anonymity. Although it would be nice to see the forum 'tweaked' slightly , especially as the LA mag Letters page isn't that regular anymore.
Or maybe we are all very content little LAA'ers.

Apparently , now that the Rob & Helen saga has cooled off a bit , the next big storyline from the last Ambridge Strut meeting , Eddie Grundy has started building a Luton Minor .

...... and a "dislike button" as well please.
We can do without derisory comments about "The Archers" and their listeners thank you very much Mr Catanach.

Oooh, I miss Nelson. And Mrs Antrobus. And Nigel.
I admit I spend far more time on other forums than this one, but it's not due to the range of emoticons? emoji? dammit - smiley things.
