Alan James and his Spitfire - Radio 2 Thu 8.35

Hi,

Anyone listening to the Chris Evans show this morning (Wednesday 7 Dec) around 8.30 am will have heard a mention of Alan James building a 'full size' Spitfire in his shed.

I understand from Alan that he'll be on the show around 8.35 tomorrow (Thursday 8 Dec) talking to Chris so do listen out for him. We couldn't hope for a better person to represent homebuilders!

It's a 60% scale Spitfire of all wood construction and it made the Daily Telegraph yesterday. He thoroughly deserved to be the first winner of The Prince Michael of Kent Trophy for best aircraft at this year's Rally and he's a delightful chap to boot.
