Size matters

Being a little en the large size, I'm 6 feet 5, I need a larger than average cockpit! Up to now I've flown an Auster but want to move on. Anyone out there can recommend a permit aircraft with a big cockpit?

Rans? Designer Randy Schlitter apparently 6'6". For sheer utility & value, the S6 seems hard to beat. OH bought one having a few hours post PPL, while he looked around for a 'proper' aeroplane. That was some twenty something years ago. It's now the highest hours homebuilt in the country, AFAIK, so it must have something going for it...

Champs are fairly roomy, too.

How about a Reality Escapade? Easy to get in to & roomy.

Latest version built as the TLAC Scout.
