Neville Eyre's widow Carole

Post by jonathanmilbank » Thu May 25, 2017 12:17 pm

Sadly Neville Eyre died on the weekend and our only comfort is that he was participating in an outdoor model aircraft activity which he greatly enjoyed.

Here is a link to the Matronics Europa forum showing more information.

A crowdfunding initiave with JustGiving has been set up to help his widow Carole through a difficult time.

The Europa fraternity has lost one of its stalwarts. Nev was the inspector in the famous TV series "A plane is born".

Please support this, thanks.

Nev was a true Gentleman.
I flew control line team race with him.. one of my mentors .
He was a stalwart of the Barton Club and his partnership with Ed Need... was known throughout the UK and Europe and much further afield... not necessarily for all the right reasons .. lol :)
I worked with Nev on a professional basis with potential Europa fuel system upgrades and quick release brake systems for classic rally cars ....
I will miss him ....
Both Jules and I send our best regards, respect and genuine sympathies to his wife and family ...

Davie and Jules Whiteside.
David Whiteside.
Hold my reins please, while i get down off my high horse !!!!
