FREDs at LAA Sywell 2017?

Post by cluttonfred » Fri Sep 01, 2017 3:38 pm

The Sywell rally is going on this weekend but I am on the other side of the Atlantic. I'd really appreciate photos and details of any Clutton FREDs that might be there. I have heard that one of the student projects from Cornwall to build one FRED and restore another may be on display as well. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just having a ball flying this thing. Three of us fly it; it's such great fun! I got to 600' agl today on the Pitsford arrival (and I was having chickens then; I don't like above "cough" 500 ft

My flight home was at *exactly* 500ft agl (plus or minus a few feet, altimeter error, you know (harrumph)

It's great fun, Eric, you should get one

Thanks, Rob. I am Matthew, not Eric, but very much appreciate that you are carrying the flag for Clutton FREDs. And thanks very much Steve for the pics! No sign of the Cornwall kids and their FRED projects?

You left the cigar burning in the ashtray. I tasted the beer. It was flat, so left it.
