LAA Forum

Post by C Rule » Mon Sep 25, 2017 11:29 am

Hi Folks
I was unable to gain access to the LAA forum over the weekend of 23-24 Sept. It appeared the server was down.
Anyone care to comment
Cheers
Colin

It does seem to go on the blink now and again, and if it does it at the weekend then unfortunately nobody is around to fix it.

Our forum is without doubt somewhat under-utilised.
But as far as I can see , that's a good thing. It means we're all happy .
People do still visit here . That has been proved by Brian's speedy reply.
But if you look at the more 'livelier' forums , a lot of the subjects do tend to be ,'same old , same old'.
Any subjects , either here or on Maint./Engineering do tend to get addressed if they warrant any sort of comment.
Must admit , I've visited here before when there's been 'road works' , but it's definitely not a problem.
The only time it does give me a problem is when folk take LAA matters and hang 'em out to dry in someone else's garden. Otherwise,,,,,,,,,,,,no problem. 8)

I had the same thing, Colin, and it was a repetition of problem experienced during the rally. I click on the Forum and it starts to load but then the progress strip stops (at about 10%) and goes to sleep for ever more. Maybe the ladies in the office need a yellow sticky on the server power button that says 'do not turn off', when they shut up shop for the weekend :D
