Suitable carriers for engine transportation

Post by evansj » Thu Jun 14, 2018 10:02 am

The Sauer engine on my Groppo Trail needs to go back to Germany for repair. It's currently at Turweston being crated up for transport. Can anyone suggest a suitable carrier for this task?

Thanks for info.

I have used the traditional couriers like FedEx, DHL and UPS to get four A65 cylinders and lift struts from USA.
Or you could try Googling for local shippers who may have frequent UK-Germany delivery routes.

I have used Interparcel to courier bits of aircraft to and from the Czech Republic. Very satisfied with the service.
