LAA Heritage Plans

Post by MDF1 » Wed Aug 01, 2018 12:45 am

The history of the LAA interests me and how it’s changed over the years from the PFA. Moving with the times is a good thing in general but do some worthwhile things get missed or left behind? The Currie Wot, Isaacs Fury, Isaacs Spitfire etc, are all available from the LAA as Heritage plans but what other types do the LAA have the rights to that may have been lost over time?

For example the Kittiwake II design was given to the PFA by the designer Dr Kit Mitchell. Wondered if there were any others? There are many on the approved list for which information is very limited, maybe some of those?

Unfortunately Stuart , my workload has got in the way .

But if my good friend John Lindsay isn't in attendance with his VP-1 , then mine could have undoubtedly scraped an award [ or two ],,,, :D

Mind you , I'm a bit worried who may have been chosen to present them this year .........
