FIBERGLASS SPATS

Post by WATJS53 » Mon Jan 13, 2020 8:50 am

Is there anyone out there who could refurbish my spats off my VANS RV6A.
They are not to bad but they do need some fiberglass repair.
I am based at Sleap. Thank you....

Many moons ago when I used to own my CriCri I damaged one of the engine cowlings when the "start" rope toggle got stuck round the pulley and smashed off the whole back end of the cowling. I located a local "go-cart" racing outfit who were always having to mend broken fairings. They did a great job for me just for the return of flight! Sorry cannot remember their name but it would have been in Hampshire somewhere. My current recourse to fibreglass repair is a friend who built his Europa and is very good at it (again in Hampshire)!
