Hi Folks
I have just received my LAA subscription renewal by post. This uses trees and LAA money. Could we not use email notification as these days we all, or nearly all, have registered email addresses (those who don't could continue to receive snail mail).
Cheers

Re: subscription renewal
Thanks for the suggestion Steve. We actually tried this in 2015/16, but the level of response to e-mails was far smaller than the response to a posted letter and we lost a lot of time following up the non-responses.
In the long run, posting is more effective. We do though, have a policy of using recycled paper where possible and, when we're back in the office, we have a paper recycling programme for incoming paper too.

Re: subscription renewal
Perhaps a small reduction (say £1 or £2) for payment by direct debit might prove cost efficient?

Re: subscription renewal
Having lived in the USA I like the American system. Send an invoice or renewal reminder for say £50 dated dd/mm/yyyy and state if paid before that date it is £49 !!
