New Rules for Flying in France

Post by Steve Slater » Fri Jun 18, 2021 5:36 pm

The DGAC has confirmed its agreement that UK pilot licenses, including sub-ICAO licenses, will be accepted for flights in non-Part 21 aircraft in France for periods of up to 28 days.

This agreement also includes acceptance of PMDs as well as other medical certificates, on the basis that if the licence and associated medical is valid to fly such aircraft in the country of registration, it is accepted in France.

New rules? The wording of the French decrees remains unchanged since 8 January 2018, except for the reinstatement of the UK, which was excluded for three months following Brexit.

In August we have again been invited to Billund in Denmark. In the past we have flown over Belgium and Holland. Could anyone please let me know if this is still possible in a kit built SportCruiser (Non Part21).Thanks.
