AGM

I have today attended (by Zoom) the LAA AGM
I do not believe it showed the LAA in a very good light at all.
This is not intended a a critisism of any individual.
A couple of requests beforehand. Please could the board /presenters have some dual instruction and be checked out on the use of Zoom and how to share PowerPoint presentations with the Attendees.
If you are going to hold voting on line there must be a way of abstaining from a vote and registering that abstention.
I came away from the AGM convinced of the poor govenance of the association of which we are all shareholders.
It would not be unreasonable for specialist non-flying non engineering committees to have Non Execs with a particular knowledge base to chair those committees. It was apparent at the AGM that there are members who have the relevant skills but may not wish to be full board members but might be happy to take on a non exec role.
We should move on from the fraud and focus on the better governace of the LAA

As an on-line attendee the experience was very poor. Couldn't hear most of what the in room attendees said.

Voting issues were a shambles.
