Virtual/Online Web Strut

Post by Chris B » Thu Jan 24, 2008 8:30 pm

Hi Everyone,

The LAA Strut section of the BB has a thread entitled “Web Strut”.

This, in essence, proposes that we evolve the BB to a virtual web based Strut.

I sent a PM to Graham Newby last October with an outline proposal for a Virtual Strut, which he supported in principle. Due to other commitments I did not follow it up. (I would have posted the PM here but I’m unable to get at it on the old BB).

The issue has been raised again by Rob Swain - and I think that it is worth pursuing.

The majority that have voted are supportive, but despite 700+ viewings, very few registered members have actually voted.

Quite a lot of effort will be required to flesh out the detail and deliver something that really works.

I am happy to devote time to this with anyone else who is interested – but only if the general consensus is that it would be beneficial to the LAA (accepting that the BB membership is currently about 4% of total membership...)

So, if you haven’t done so already, please could you have a look at the thread and vote?

Regards,

Chris B

Edited to make some words bold type.
